A 24-year-old former Bank of Hawaii teller pleaded not guilty Friday to charges she allegedly embezzled more than $40,000 from bank customers, including two elderly customers.
Hilo Circuit Judge Henry Nakamoto ordered Alohi K. Kaupu-Grace to stand trial at 8:30 a.m. April 21, 2026, before Third Circuit Chief Judge Wendy DeWeese in Kona.
Kaupu-Grace, who provided a Pahala address when arrested Thursday afternoon, is charged with three counts each of first-degree computer fraud and first-degree theft, and two counts each of second-degree computer fraud and second-degree theft.
She is accused of having used Bank of Hawaii computers to embezzle the funds and to falsify records relating to the alleged thefts.
