At least two people have died and eight others injured following a mass shooting at a university. Emergency services were called to Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island following the incident yesterday evening. ‌

Local and federal law enforcement in Providence are currently searching for the suspect who made off after opening fire in a classroom. The university campus has been shutdown with shelter in place orders issued to students and local residents following the incident which was first reported at around 4.22pm local time on Saturday, December 13, reports the Mirror . ‌
