Chicago Bears cornerback Kyler Gordon was placed on injured reserve Saturday with a groin injury, which means he will miss at least the rest of the regular season.
The team already had announced Gordon would not play in Sunday's home game against the Cleveland Browns after not practicing all week due to the injury he sustained during warmups for last week's loss at Green Bay.
It's the latest setback in what has been an injury-riddled season for the fourth-year cornerback. Gordon, 25, has appeared in just three games this season. He missed the start of the season due to a hamstring injury sustained during training camp. After playing in Weeks 6 and 7, Gordon was placed on injured reserve due to groin/calf injuries. He came off the bench in Week 13 at Philadelphia.
