The Buffalo Bills are staying at a hotel near where a mass shooting left two dead and injured nine others.

Hundreds of police officers are in Providence, Rhode Island, searching for the shooter who opened fire in a classroom on the Brown University campus. According to the Ivy League college, a shelter remains in place in the area while a manhunt is underway.

Brown’s Department of Public Safety sent a campus-wide alert at 4:22 p.m. Saturday urging students and faculty to run, hide and fight (as a last resort) due to the presence of an “active shooter.” As of 1:54 a.m. Sunday, a shelter in place remains ongoing inside and outside the perimeter of the campus as law enforcement officers work to find the shooter and safely evacuate people.
