After Friends ended, Lisa Kudrow starred in an even funnier show, The Comeback , playing an even funnier character than her career-making role as Phoebe Buffay . It’s extremely rare that the stars of a hit show like Friends or Seinfeld or The Office ever get another hit show, because creating a show that captures the zeitgeist like they did is like catching lightning in a bottle.

But, while Kudrow has never starred in another show that became as hugely successful as Friends , she did star in another show that was even more hilarious. A little over a year after Friends ended its 10-season run, Kudrow teamed up with Sex and the City ’s Michael Patrick King to co-create a new starring vehicle for herself, aptly titled The Comeback .
