Footballer Lionel Messi's second leg of the GOAT India Tour ended smoothly in Hyderabad on Saturday, December 13, after a chaotic event fiasco in Kolkata's Salt Lake Stadium.

Messi's programme in Hyderabad witnessed proper preparations, planning and discipline at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy welcoming the sportsman.

Earlier on December 13, Messi's first leg of his three-day four-city GOAT Tour 2025, in Kolkata, witnessed poor crowd management and security lapses. The event drew sharp criticism from the fans and politicians alike.

In Hyderabad, Messi met with Reddy and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and greeted fans with enthusiasm. He also showed off some of his iconic skills, as per news agency PTI.
