The DCU is about to feature a much more brutal version of a cut Superman scene in the franchise's next movie. While the DCU is still in its early stages, we're set to see some notable character arcs develop in just these first years alone, as several major figures will appear in multiple releases throughout the first chapter of the DC Universe timeline .

Two such figures are those of Supergirl and Krypto, who both first appeared in Superman , and are now set to have notable roles in 2026's Supergirl , which is only months away. As it stands, though, it's looking like Krypto is set to get a worse version of his cut scene in Superman within the upcoming DCU movie .
