New Delhi: India has become the world’s third most competitive country in artificial intelligence, according to a new report by Stanford University. The ranking highlights how quickly India’s position in the global AI space is improving, even though there is still a wide gap between it and the two leading countries.
According to Moneycontrol, the assessment comes from Stanford University’s Global AI Vibrancy Tool, shown through a Visual Capitalist chart. India ranked third with a score of 21.59. The United States remained far ahead in first place with a score of 78.6, followed by China at 36.95. The difference in scores makes it clear that India is not yet close to matching the scale and depth of AI development seen in the US and China.
