Hyderabad’s Nehru Zoological Park will soon welcome two more zebras from Vantara, joining the current three. The zoo also plans to introduce a pair of Wallabies, adding exotic animals back after a 37-year gap.

Hyderabad: The Nehru Zoological Park zebra enclosure is set to become livelier, with two more of these exotic animals joining the existing ones on display.

The Hyderabad Zoo will shortly get a pair of zebras from Vantara, a global wildlife rescue and conservation centre in Jamnagar. Currently, the zoo is home to three zebras – two male and one female – that have also been brought from the Vantara. These exotic animals returned to the zoo after a gap of 37 years.

In addition, the zoo is also planning to add a pair of Wallabies –kangaroo-like animals, which stand around three feet
