Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar, on Sunday, December 14, met Argentine football superstar Lionel Messi during the latter’s GOAT India Tour at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the pictures of which, shared by the former on his social media handles, have gone viral.

On the third leg of his four-city GOAT India tour, Messi spent an hour at the Wankhede Stadium, interacting with young footballers, Tendulkar, Indian football icon Sunil Chhetri and multiple celebrities from the entertainment world.

Messi, along with his Inter Miami teammates Luis Suarez and Rodrigo de Paul, walked out to the field after Tendulkar had arrived around 5:45 pm.

“ Must say, today was a 10/10 day @leomessi 😉," Tendulkar posted on his Instagram handle.
