Sydney: At least ten people were killed and twelve others injured in a serious shooting incident at Sydney’s popular coastal area, Bondi Beach, on Sunday, triggering panic among the public and prompting authorities to place the area on high security alert.

According to foreign media reports, the incident occurred when two armed individuals opened indiscriminate fire on people present at Bondi Beach. Several victims died on the spot, while the injured were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
