Ravens rookie linebacker Teddye Buchanan has been ruled out with a knee injury suffered in Sunday's game in Cincinnati.

Buchanan went down without contact while covering a punt near the end of the first quarter. He walked off the field with assistance but was eventually taken on a cart to the locker room.

A fourth-round pick, Buchanan has been a major part of the Ravens' defense and has had a spectacular rookie season thus far.

He has started 12 of 13 games and played 74% of the Ravens' defensive snaps. Buchanan entered the game with 91 tackles, the second-most on the team behind Roquan Smith, including five for loss and a half sack.

The Ravens inserted Trenton Simpson next to Smith after Buchanan went down.
