INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts are in Seattle to take on the Seahawks as they look to keep their season alive after losing four of their last five games.
Injuries are the theme of the afternoon. Daniel Jones is out for the season after he tore his Achilles tendon during last weekend's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Riley Leonard, who played in relief of Jones last week, is listed as active despite a knee injury. However, Leonard is not expected to start Sunday's game . That's because Indianapolis signed 44-year-old Philip Rivers out of retirement following a productive workout.
Rivers last played in the NFL during the 2020 season after he signed a one-year deal with the Colts prior to announcing his retirement at the conclusion of the season.
