San Francisco police announced they will be increasing patrols at places of worship and Jewish events following the Bondi Beach shooting in Australia during a Hanukkah celebration.
Sunday, the Associated Press reported hundreds of people had gathered at Bondi Beach in Sydney to celebrate the first day of Hanukkah when gunmen opened fired. According to officials, 16 people were killed, including a 12-year-old child.
Authorities confirmed 29 people were wounded, including two police officers.
