The Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, has described the Bondi Beach attack as "pure evil". Speaking from Canberra this evening, he addressed the nation following the horrific terror attack on Bondi Beach, Sydney.
Earlier today, at least 16 people, including a young girl who was just 10 years old, were killed when two men opened fire during a Hanukkah celebration at the popular tourist spot. One of the attackers, a man aged 50, is among the confirmed fatalities after being shot by police at the scene. The two gunmen have been identified as father and son.
