It's been a terrible week for gun violence, both here and around the world. Early Sunday, two shooters opened fire at Australia's Bondi Beach, killing 15 people. Most people run from danger — understandably. Plenty of armchair commandos and tactical wannabes love to theorize about how they'd stop a violent incident with their concealed carry and weekend warrior training. But at Bondi Beach, the man who ran toward danger to protect his family and bystanders wasn't a good guy with a gun. He had no body armor and probably didn't think twice about the implications.
