DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — What DeKalb County Police initially believed was a murder-suicide case has now turned into a double murder investigation -- with the man who survived the shooting facing charges.
According to DeKalb County Police, 41-year-old Roland Sukoo is being charged with two counts of malice murder.
The shooting unfolded at a townhome on Chatfield Drive. Police responded around 1:15 a.m.
"Tragically, officers located a girl older than ten who had been shot and killed. Additionally, officers found a woman in her 30s who was also shot and killed," a police statement said. "Officers also found a man who had been shot but survived with serious injuries. He was rushed to a hospital."
