Burnes was pulled in the fifth inning of a game against the Nationals on June 1 with right elbow discomfort. After seeking a second opinion, he’s set to undergo Tommy John surgery and be out for the next 12 months or so.

Justin Martinez - RP (elbow)

Martinez was pulled from a game on June 9 with elbow tightness and was placed on the 15-day injured list with a UCL sprain in his right elbow. This comes shortly after the 23-year-old right-hander was sidelined with a shoulder injury. He’s now facing a 12-13 month abse
