A serious crash between a car and a bike has closed a major road in one direction. Lincolnshire Police were called to North Road in Bourne at 5.52pm on Friday, July 11, following reports of a crash.

Once officers arrived at the scene they found a car and motorbike had crashed on the road. Emergency services including police and the ambulance service are at the scene.

A spokesperson from Lincolnshire Police said officers are still gathering information about the incident at this time. North Road has been closed northbound between Stephenson Way to the Dyke turn off.

According to police a diversion is in place.
