Fort Lauderdale police announce siblings’ arrests in 2022 food store murder

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Fort Lauderdale police announced two arrests in connection with the 2022 murder of a man at a since-demolished food store in the city.

The suspects arrested in the shooting death of Steven Black are a brother and a sister: accused killer Warren Pollock, 24, of Hephzibah, Georgia, and alleged accessory Wanisha Pollock, 29, of Lauderhill.

The shooting happened on March 13, 2022 at Tony’s Market at 800 NW 22nd Road.
