GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Gator graduate and newest Student Assistant Coach for Florida gymnastics Leanne Wong competed in the U.S. Classic this weekend. The event taking place at the NOW Arena in Illinois.

Claiming first in many events in the same classic in 2022, Wong preformed in uneven bars and balance beam Saturday as planned.

The 2024 Olympic Alternate kicked off her 2025 Elite schedule this weekend as well.

She tied for 11thin uneven bars (13.20) and tied for fifth on beam (13.30).
