BALTIMORE —

Journalism won the 150th Preakness Stakes in Baltimore on Saturday, marking the last race of the Triple Crown's middle jewel before Pimlico Race Course is demolished and rebuilt .

Going into the race, we knew there wouldn't be a Triple Crown in 2025 as it was decided for Kentucky Derby-winner Sovereignty to skip Baltimore for the Belmont Stakes.

The favorite in the Derby who had to settle for second, Journalism was the odds-on favorite in the Preakness.

Clever Again took an early lead out of the gates, with Journalism making a clean break but was on the inside in the first turn. He was five lengths behind by the final turn.

Here are the Preakness Post Positions as drawn Monday night and morning lines.

Goal Oriented, 6-1

Journalism, 8-5

American Promise, 15-1
