Severe weather possible Monday across eastern Oklahoma includes the risk of large hail, damaging winds, flash flooding and possibly strong tornadoes.
The forecast prompted Broken Arrow High School to postpone Monday evening's graduation, with the commencement ceremony moved to Tuesday.
Multiple rounds of storms are likely beginning after 1 p.m. and continuing into early-morning hours Tuesday, according to National Weather Service Tulsa.
Conditions "will support all severe hazards, with potentially very large hail and tornadoes, possibly strong, ... through the afternoon hours," the forecast discussion states, bringing the likelihood of "possibly high-impact hazards with any storms in this time frame."
