SCOTT COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A Scott County R-IV School District (Kelly) teacher is facing criminal charges after a student said he made inappropriate advances at school during the 2024-2025 school year.
Omar Campos, 36, was arrested on Thursday, May 22 and booked into the Scott County Jail.
Campos is charged with felony harassment first-degree, misdemeanor sexual misconduct second-degree and misdemeanor assault fourth-degree.
His bond is set at $25,000 cash only.
According to online court documents, the student told investigators that Campos had touched her inappropriately and made uncomfortable sexual-related comments.
Campos is scheduled to make his first court appearance at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27.
