SPOKANE, Wash - More than 10 million visitors came to Spokane County in 2024, the first time the region has passed that milestone.

Visitor spending was also up, reaching $1.53 billion, according to information released by Visit Spokane on Thursday.

The organization says the visitor economy also supported 18,000 jobs in Spokane County.

"This surge not only underscores the undeniable allure of our community but also proves the power of tourism and its impact on our local economy," said Visit Spokane President & CEO Rose Noble. "Tourism sustains our local businesses and provides thousands of jobs. We are excited to welcome even more guests to experience the beauty and hospitality of our region."

The visitors who came to Spokane spent an average of $152 per visit.
