SANTA MONICA – A pedestrian was hit by a bus in Santa Monica early Friday morning.

The Santa Monica Police and Fire responded to 30th St and Pico Boulevard for a Santa Monica Big Blue Bus that had struck a pedestrian in the street.

The Santa Monica Police Department closed Eastbound lanes of Pico between 28th and 30th while they investigate what led up to the collision.
