BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A man is facing charges after allegedly raping a woman who he was tattooing on Friday, May 30, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

According to BRPD, Jamarkus Whitlock, 24, has been charged with second-degree rape.

During questioning with police, Whitlock denied the allegations.

While at the hospital, officials say the victim submitted to a rape kit which was sent to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis.

Whitlock was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
