BANGOR, Maine — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a Brewer man wanted in connection with multiple violent assault charges stemming from an incident in May.

On Monday, June 2, members of the Bangor Police Department’s Special Response Team and Criminal Investigations Division served a search warrant at a home on Webster Avenue in an effort to find 35-year-old Sheldon Wray.

Wray was not located during the search, Bangor police said in a press release.

Wray is currently wanted on several active warrants related to the earlier case. Police said the charges include:

Two counts of aggravated assault, class A

Two counts of aggravated assault, class B

Two counts of domestic violence aggravated assault, class B

One count of assault, class D

Violating conditions of release
