TREUTLEN COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said last week that three people were arrested in a kidnapping and assault case in Treutlen County.

According to the GBI, the victim was first assaulted at a home, then kidnapped and taken to another home and assaulted, then finally taken to the woods and sexually assaulted.

The GBI announced the arrests of 30-year-old Dean Tanner, 43-year-old Lauren Bailey and 51-year-old Jeff Sconyers in the case.

According to the bureau, it began on May 28, with a victim reporting that the trio physically assaulted him at a home in Soperton in Treutlen County. Then they allegedly kidnapped him and took him to a home in Vidalia, where they "physically assaulted the victim again to the point that he lost consciousness."
