WENATCHEE, Wash. - Authorities in Chelan County, Washington are actively searching for Travis C. Decker after the bodies of his three children were found near his abandoned vehicle on June 2, 2025. New documents have clarified the cause of death of the three children.

The discovery followed a report from Decker's ex-wife, Whitney D. Decker, who alerted the Wenatchee Police Department when Travis failed to return their children as per a court-ordered parenting plan. Whitney reported her concerns to the Wenatchee Police Department, noting Decker's recent mental health issues and lack of stable housing.
