BILLINGS, Mont. – RiverStone Health and the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services confirmed two measles cases in Yellowstone County. An unvaccinated adult and child contracted the disease while traveling internationally.
Both individuals recovered and returned home without being contagious. Jon Forte, Yellowstone County Health Officer, emphasized the importance of vaccination amid U.S. outbreaks. "I encourage everyone who has not been vaccinated to have a conversation with their healthcare provider about getting this safe and highly effective vaccination," Forte said.
