29 counties are on course for a sweltering heatwave with temperatures as high as 32C expected at times. The hottest counties - and set to benefit from temperatures AT LEAST 26C and potentially rising to 32C on June 16 - include Somerset, the West Midlands, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Sussex, Cambridgeshire and Kent.

Essex, Cheshire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire , Derbyshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire, Shropshire, Greater London, Buckinghamshire, Northants, Nottinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Staffordshire and Worcestershire are also included.
