RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Five months into her new job, North Carolina's Lt. Governor has been crisscrossing the state advocating for childcare and the community college system.

Lt. Governor Rachel Hunt's last name is a familiar one. Her father Jim Hunt served four terms as North Carolina's governor. But before holding that office, he was elected Lt. Governor.

CBS 17’s Russ Bowen sat down with Lt. Gov. Rachel Hunt to talk about what it's like to follow in her father's footsteps.
