CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Next year’s NBA All-Star game will have a USA vs World format, commissioner Adam Silver said Wednesday.

Silver has admitted that this year’s format was “a miss” and said he hopes the NBA can duplicate the success of hockey’s 4 Nations Faceoff.

It’s still unclear how the teams would be picked and how they would come up with an even number of players on each roster.

The Cavs had two All-Stars, Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley, in this season’s game.
