A routine traffic stop last week led to a major drug bust after officers discovered 185 pounds of marijuana hidden inside a stolen vehicle on an 18-wheeler car hauler.

Criminal interdiction officers with the Commercial Transportation Enforcement Division, along with agents from the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, pulled over the truck on I-22 in Lee County.

The vehicle, which originated in Oklahoma City and was headed to Florida, was found transporting the drugs in the bed of a stolen pickup truck loaded on the trailer.

The driver, 46-year-old Derrick Lee, was arrested at the scene. He now faces charges including a logbook violation and trafficking of marijuana.
