NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department has arrested two men following an armed robbery incident Thursday morning.
Xavier Holmes, 28, and Taurus Holmes, 21, are both charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm during a violent crime and additional weapons law violations.
Police arrived at the scene around 11:50 a.m. in the Ferndale community to a report of an armed robbery.
Officers were advised by the victim that they met up with the suspects to purchase a vehicle, but were instead robbed a gunpoint.
One of the suspects fled from the area towards Rivers Avenue while the other fled to a room at the Exonomy Inn and Suites. Officers located and arrested both suspects.
Both suspects were taken into custody.
