INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (KCRG) - On Thursday, Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever spoke publicly for the first time since an injury kept her out of the game.

The team announced her injury on May 26, saying she would be out for at least two weeks.

She is set to miss her fourth game this Saturday when the Fever takes on the Chicago Sky.

Clark spoke Thursday during a news conference after the team’s practice.

The former Iowa Hawkeye said she is still on the team’s original two-week timeline, and will be revaluated this weekend.

“It’s day by day. See how I feel. Just kind of turn it to the medical staff to see what they think. I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress and I feel good. I’m not going rush it. It’s not worth it,” said Clark.
