Vanessa Lynn Tucker, age 66 of Burns, TN departed on June 2, 2025. Vanessa was born on June 23, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois. She earned her Master of Business Administration from The University of Tennessee at Martin, became a Certified Public Accountant, and worked in accounting for many years before retiring from Tom James Company.

Above all, Vanessa treasured her role as a mother and grandmother – not only to her own children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, but to anyone in her circle. She was a strong-willed, determined woman who faced life’s challenges with grit and grace, always standing firm in her beliefs and protecting those she loved.
