LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - High School reunions take place all the time, but later this summer, a special gathering of graduates from various high schools in Lake Charles will be coming together to celebrate their friendship. We spoke with Robert Pete, Tracie Williams, and Latisha Stevens to get the details.

The “Better Together” reunion is about reuniting 1985 graduates from across multiple high schools who were friends in their younger years during a time when schools were merging.

The reunion will be from August 8 - 10.

Friday, August 8 - Meet and Greet at the Frosty Factory (4688 Common Street)

Saturday, August 9 - Social Gala at the Charleston (900 Ryan Street)

Sunday, August 10 - Worship Service at Christian Baptist Church (202 N. Franklin Street)
