LEBANON, Mo. -- The Lebanon Police Department (LPD) says it is actively investigating a shooting that left a pregnant woman dead on Thursday night.

According to LPD, just after 11:30 p.m., their officers found 21-year-old Reagan Wilson with gunshot wounds after being called to a home in the 700 block of North Adams Street. Wilson was taken to a local hospital but later died from her injuries.

Wilson was near term in her pregnancy when the shooting occurred, but LPD says the infant survived and is getting medical care. The condition of the infant is currently unknown to LPD.

LPD investigators are still searching for the suspect and ask anyone who has information or surveillance footage of the area to contact them at 417-532-3131.
