LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Four people will have to be relocated after a fire caused $85,000 in damages to a house converted into apartments in central Lincoln early Friday morning.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue were called to the home on 30th Street between U and Vine streets around 4:45 a.m.
10/11’s Skyview camera showed smoke rising from the area of the fire. Battalion Chief Jeremy Gegg says crews were able to get the flames knocked down quickly, and no injuries occurred. LFR says there was $75,000 in damages and $10,000 in lost items.
Although the cause of the fire is still under investigation, LFR thinks the fire may have started outdoors.
