HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — A woman was arrested on charges of menacing and unlawful imprisonment in Henderson after police say she got into someone's vehicle armed with a box cutter and forced them to drive.

Police say 911 calls started coming in around 2:15 p.m. on Thursday about an armed woman approaching drivers in the area of US Hwy 60 and Watson Lane.

Authorities say the woman, 31-year-old Jacqueline Poiles, got into a utility worker's truck, displayed a box cutter with the blade out, and told the worker to "drive."

HPD says the worker drover a short distance before stopping the truck, jumping out, and calling 911.

While the worker called 911, Poiles reportedly walked off and continued to approach other drivers, demanding a ride.
