Study: Sacramento and Fresno offer nightlife on the cheap

As the days stretch longer into the evening, Californians looking for a bit of fun and relaxation without breaking the bank are in luck.

A new study revealed the cities with the most affordable night out, and lo and behold, two California cities made the list.

Based on the average total cost of six common expenses during a night out, Casino experts at OnlineCasinoCalifornia.io ranked 35 U.S. cities with populations of over 500,000 people.

They looked at the average cost of a night’s stay at a hotel, a 5-mile taxi ride, a cocktail drink in a club, a bottle of good quality red table wine, a draft beer at a neighborhood bar, and a combo meal at a fast-food restaurant.

Once all the calculations were complete, Sacramento came in at #2, with a night out costing an average total of $153.01.
