PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Portland man who taught at a local high school was arrested on Friday and accused of committing online sex crimes against children.
Oscar Armando Ramirez, 36, was a teacher at Gresham High School when he was allegedly communicating in sexually explicit conversations online with someone who said they were a 13-year-old girl, the Portland Police Bureau said.
In reality, the person Ramirez was chatting with was actually an undercover police officer with the Bothell Police Department in Washington, posing as the child, as part of an undercover sting operation, police said.
