MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - It’s a quiet start to Saturday, with a few early clouds and comfortable temperatures across southern Wisconsin. Any early sprinkles will be confined to far western areas, and most of us will stay dry through the first half of the day. As we head into Saturday afternoon, a weak system brushing by to our south may be enough to trigger a couple of isolated showers or rumbles of thunder. The most likely spots to see anything measurable will be near the Illinois border, and even there, coverage looks sparse. So while a brief pop-up storm isn’t out of the question, it’s a low-impact day overall.
