Heavy rainfall over the last 12 hours has lead to flooding concerns across most of southern New York and into the Catskills. Check out our estimated rainfall total below. To put these numbers in perspective, Syracuse averages 3.56" of rain through the entire month of June. Some areas likely received over 3" in the last 24 hours.

The National Weather Service has issued Flash Flood Warnings to run till 11AM for areas southeast of Norwich into the Catskills. If you come across a flooded roadway, please exercise caution and common sense.

Flood Watches are still in effect till noon today for some local counties, expect these flood watches to gradually expire from west to east as the heavies rain has already exited Cortland County.
