INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Fever will be without head coach Stephanie White as they look to notch back-to-back wins for the first time this season Saturday night.
White will miss the Fever's June 7 game against the Sky in Chicago due to personal reasons, a team spokesperson confirmed to 13News Saturday afternoon.
Assistant Austin Kelly will serve as acting head coach for the game.
The Fever go into the contest with a 3-4 record in White's first season as head coach, having snapped a three-game skid with an 85-76 victory over the Mystics on June 3.
The team has battled several injuries in recent weeks, with star guard Caitlin Clark suffering a quad strain against the Liberty May 24 and Sophie Cunningham dealing with an ankle injury.
