LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle collision that occurred on Friday evening.

The crash occurred just after 7 pm on South Las Vegas Boulevard, north of East Moberly Avenue near East Windmill Lane.

According to evidence at the scene and witness statements, a 2021 Benelli TNT 135cc motorcycle was traveling northbound on Las Vegas Boulevard in the right travel lane when the rider lost control for unknown reasons.

Police say the motorcycle struck the east curb line, ejecting the rider onto the east sidewalk.

The rider was transported to Saint Rose Siena Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries despite all life-saving measures, medical personnel said.
