On Saturday, the Pittsburgh Steelers finally signed quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a one-year deal worth up to $19.5 million that includes a $13.65 million base salary and $10 million in guaranteed money.
Rodgers joins the Steelers with 62,952 passing yards, 503 passing touchdowns and 116 interceptions as well as a Super Bowl ring, a Super Bowl MVP award, four NFL MVPs, 10 Pro Bowls and five All-Pro selections.
Prior to the signing, Pittsburgh was expected to have Mason Rudolph under center, sixth-round pick Will Howard as the backup and former Miami Dolphins seventh-round pick Skylar Thompson as the third string. Now, they'll all bump down a spot on the depth chart to give way for Rodgers.
