On Saturday, the Houston Astros visited the Cleveland Guardians for their second matchup in a three-game series on the road.

Righty Hunter Brown started at the mound, recording his 13th start of the 2025 season.

The Astros got on the board first in the top of the fifth inning. Yainer Diaz and Jake Meyers started the frame with a single and a double, respectively, to get on third and second with no outs, giving Astros’ fans hope to get on the board.

However, two strikeouts later, the Astros needed to capitalize. Jeremy Pena hit a groundball into the infield that looked like a routine out, but he accelerated to the bag, diving to beat the throw and secure a 1-0 lead for Houston with a highlight play.
